Ingredients
2 tablespoons coconut flour
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 cup Applesauce
3/4 cup coconut sugar or date sugar
1/2 cup Coconut Oil
1/4 cup Water
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1/2 cup Pure Raw Cacao Powder
Instructions
1-Preheat the oven to 350ºF and line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
2-In a large bowl, combine the coconut flour, applesauce, cacao powder, coconut or date sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Stir well until no lumps remain.
3-Add in the melted coconut oil, and stir again until the batter is smooth. You can add Dark Chocolate Baking Chips. Note: Lily’s 55% dark chocolate chips are vegan, gluten-free, and contain no added sugars. ( Fold in the chocolate chips) optional to add chocolate chips.
4-Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
5-Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes, or until the center doesn't wiggle when you gently shake the pan.
6-Let the brownies cool completely in the pan, then slice them into 12 pieces and serve.
